London Calling! lol

May 29, 2011 2 comments

Another track from my not-so-secret-British-project… :P This one is a mix of an instrumental theme with an in loco recording of a train station noise in London. It’s called “Chery(ish) Blossom” for many, many reasons. -.- lol

Thanks to Mark Durham for the train recording… Oh, and that reminds me of talking about an amazing new group at SoundCloud called Found Sounds¬†focused exactly in capturing those weird sounds from pretty much everything… Even that old cricket of mine was featured in their blog a couple days ago. :P

Take your time, enjoy the links and the song. Have a nice week. ;)

New Project: British Songs?

May 22, 2011 2 comments

Hi there, good night! How you’re doing?

Just started a new project with some somewhat-British songs, and I wanted to share the kick-off track here: Eurostar. That’s still a placeholder cover art–waiting for the official one to be ready. :P I hope you like it (click the cover to give it a listen). ;)

See ya!

Strolling alone
(countless miles behind),
smell the thick air; hit the fresh breeze; stare the cloudy-leaden, heavy skyline…
Feeling right at home.

Fields that unfold
right before your eyes.
Crossing bridges over rivers heading towards all those brand new landscapes…
A secret still untold.

Open your mind.
Then, keep it open wide.
Hang on to your lucky charm,
watch the owl spread wings and fly…

Going on foot
(many more miles ahead).
Even though I miss you so I’ll rest assured you’re fine because you’re happy:
your home is the world.

Hotel Dusk Music: Solo Guitar

May 15, 2011 8 comments

Hi there, how you’re doing? Kinda late for the week this time… :P But still in time anyway. -.-

One of the things I like most when it comes to studying music is to make an adaptation of a particular piece for a solo instrument; that’s even funnier if it’s a videogame music piece since I specially love those ones.

Well, ¬†a couple years ago I did a dirty video :P with a recording of one theme from a videogame soundtrack that I really love: “Straight Chaser” by Yuhki Mori and Satoshi Okubo from Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (Nintendo DS). The fact is that video was uploaded to Gamespot at the time and recently I did receive a request from a new friend there asking me things about that adaptation… So I decided to make a full tab to share here–including the chords progression which interested him at most. ;).

In the forthcoming posts I intend to do better recordings for other themes I like to play, so if you’re interested stay tuned. ;)

Straight Chaser (Tab+)

Feel free to hit me with any questions… See ya! :)

Oh My…

Sick. As hell. *cough* Sorry.

Take this as medicine, just like me:

See ya!
